Only moments after the awarding of one million pesos to the wife of a fallen frontliner, RD Gloria J. Balboa again recognized another medical frontliner from a private hospital in Pasig City. Having comorbidities, she contracted a severe type of COVID-19.
As she accepts the cheque as token of her invaluable service, she declares that, “Since I've got my first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, I am already planning to go back to working in the same hospital.” Her positive attitude is an inspiration to all medical frontliners to continue to fight this dreaded disease.
