Victoriano Luna General Hospital (also known as the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center) today started the COVID-19 vaccination rollout for its frontline health workers.
Col Pablito F Melchor, Deputy Chaplain of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center cordially welcomed Hon. Josefina G. Belmonte, Mayor of Quezon City, Health Secretary Duque, National Defense Secretary Delfin N Lorenzana and AFP Chief of Staff Lt Gen Cirilito E Sobejana at the AFP Medical Center. The program signaled the start of the COVID-19 vaccination rollout for its medical frontline workers.
Medical Center Chief, Dr. Col. Fatima Claire Navarro, received her first shot from Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque during the symbolic vaccination today.
Approximately 30 was vaccinated today. 600 medical health frontliners will be vaccinated in the next succeeding days from the V.Luna Gen.Hosp.
Observance of minimum public health standards were strictly enforced in the activities.
